When dispensing draft beer from a pressurized keg into an ordinary cup, it has a tendency to create CO2 breakout (foaming). Even though it occurs incrementally, excessive foaming is a very expensive waste issue to owners and operations serving draft beer.
As much as 45% of a beer keg can be wasted by excess foaming.
Most draft beer waste is a result of bad pouring techniques. These endless variations in techniques result in excess foaming which is discarded by staff with each and every pour who then attempt to fill the cup again with more draft beer. No matter how much time is spent training staff members, without a standardized pouring method there will always be variations in pouring techniques, including the managers who train staff.
None of these techniques can be considered correct. In environments where there are many staff members, the draft beer foam waste is multiplied many times. The ultimate desire is to minimize waste (excess foaming), as well as the time required to serve each customer.

ANATOMY of the LOW FOAM EZ POUR CUP
The upper end of the fluted cone device is tapered to split the stream of beer into a 360-degree curtain of liquid, minimizing CO2 breakout (foaming).
The smooth fluted cone is the point of reference for pouring, standardizing the pouring to only one method. We call this "Standardized Point-of-Reference Pouring".
The fluted cone increases surface area while causing the liquid to slow down without disruption as it travels to the bottom of the cup.
The smooth, concave tapered bottom increases the surface area of the cup as it fans out to the outer wall. The mild slope to the outer wall of the cup minimizes CO2 breakout, therefore less foaming.
The eased curved corner where the sidewall of the cup meets the bottom causes the liquid to roll as it reaches the outer wall, minimizing CO2 breakout.
The flutes of the cone act as a light prism, causing the disposable LED light fixture, when snapped into place, to reflect off the flutes with more intensity.
Small depressions located near the bottom of the cup in the hollow area of the fluted cone allow the companion accessories to easily snap into place.

The Keep Cool Can
The Keep Cool Aluminum Can is much more than your common aluminum can. It's ability to cool the contained beverage faster in a refrigerator or ice chest is due to the increased surface area, made possible by the can's revolutionary design. Before this product, cans could only cool from the outer wall surface. With this inner hollow core, cold air and ice penetrate more exposed surface area, allowing for faster cooling. The organic Phase Changing Material (PCM) pod, called the Keep Cool Pod, snaps into place on the underside of the can, keeping cooled beverages chilled longer, thus making all other aluminum cans obsolete.The patented fluted cone increases cooling surface area of the can while making the can stronger and more rigid.

Companion Accessories That Create Additional Revenue Streams Resulting In Increased Profits
The biggest benefit of the Low Foam EZ Pour Cup is the fluted cone's hollow core. The capacity-to-size relationship has been maintained by making minor adjustments to the dimensions of each cup size. The fluted cone displaces minimal capacity but increases the surface area of the cone, while making the cup stronger and more rigid. The hollow core offers space for our illumination and cooling accessories that easily snap into place.
The Illumination Device
The Illumination Device is one of two companion pieces currently available for the Low Foam EZ Pour Cup. Outward dimple depressions located on the bottom, outside wall of the cup allow for the device to easily friction-snap into place. The fluted cone acts as a light prism, causing the Multi-color flashing LED light fixture, when attached to the bottom of the cup, to reflect off the angles of the flutes and through the liquid with more intensity. This illumination device will increase revenue and add to the overall customer experience by creating energy and excitement, especially at spectator sporting events, concerts, and nightclubs.
The Keep Cool Pod
The Keep Cool Pod has one similarity to the Illumination Device, it will also friction-snap into the bottom of the cup. It is however a more versatile product, a reusable pod filled with organic Phase Changing Material (PCM), the same substance found in reusable ice packs, chest coolers, and other insulated containers. It's able to be used with our cup and can designs. The PCM maintains colder temperatures longer and assimilates (defrosts) slower than ice, so whether your choice is a draft beer, canned beer, or soft drink, your beverage will keep colder longer without the use of ice diluting your beverage.
